HIP-Dilatometer for Process-Development in Powder Materials
Abstract:
The general assumptions for qualified use of a dilatometer are pointed
out, followed by a description of the special requirements to a
dilatometer for use in a hot isostatic press (HIP).After presenting
the state of the art a solution developed at the Institut fur Keramik
im Maschinenbau is presented.With the example of a first optimization
of a Sinter/HIP-process for ZTA the practical application of this
dilatometer is demonstrated.
