New fluorine-labelled amino acids as ¹⁹F-NMR reporters for structural peptide studies: Design, synthesis, and applications
Abstract:
A library of new fluorine-labelled analogs of natural amino acids (Pro, Ala, Leu, Ile, Val)has been designed and synthesized. Using 19F-NMR the obtained compounds have been used as the labels to study the structure and orientation of the antimicrobial peptides PGLa, GS and the cell-penetrating peptide SAP.
