Herstellung und Charakterisierung von dreidimensionalen Mikrostrukturen für Zellexperimente

Striebel, Thomas

Abstract:

Adhesion of tissue cells is traditionally studied on flat substrates. However, much less is known about how cells behave in three-dimensional environments. We apply direct laser writing to design three-dimensional scaffolds. By using different photoresists, we were able to vary the stiffness of the scaffolds, to optimize the system for imaging and to define the contact sites cells build up. Using quantitative image processing, we analyzed shape, traction and adhesion structures of cells.
