Influence of Interfacial Parameters on the Adhesion of Soft Polymers

The goal of this work is a systematic study of the effect of interfacial parameters, such as surface substrate roughness, surface energy, as well as the incorporation of functional comonomers in the polymer chains, on the adhesion of PSAs and investigation of the influence of slight crosslinking of PSAs on their adhesion and debonding mechanism, i. e. the transition of cohesive to adhesive failure. The probe tack test was used in combination with video observation.
