Improvements in Multi-physics and Multi-scale Methodologies for Safety-related Investigations of Pressurized Water Reactors within the NURESIM Platform

Two main contributions were achieved. The first one is based on the integration of a thermal-hydraulic sub-channel code named SUBCHANFLOW inside the NURESIM platform and its coupling with the reactor dynamic code COBAYA3. The second contribution is focused on the development of hybrid schemes (non-conform geometry) for both neutronic and thermal-hydraulic domains.
