Investigations on the Enzymatic Synthesis of Novel Glycolipids - Establishment and optimization of the synthesis including product characterization

Abstract:
Within this thesis the lipase-catalyzed synthesis of amino sugar fatty acid esters in organic solvents was demonstrated. This synthesis was characterized and optimized by the variation of several crucial reaction parameters. Further the establishment of a screening assay to detect lipase activity in organic solvents and glycolipid syntheses in deep eutectic solvents were successfully performed.
