Exploring the Mechanisms of Three-Dimensional Direct Laser Writing by Multi-Photon Polymerization

Müller, Jonathan Benedikt

Abstract:

This thesis targets the experimental investigation of the microscopic mechanisms of direct laser writing by multi-photon polymerization. Due to the small reaction volume and the high exposure intensity, the reaction conditions are very specific in this case. Therefore, standard reaction models are adapted on the basis of experiments on the excitation mechanism, the local heating, the influence of oxygen quenching and oxygen diffusion, and the duration of the polymerization reaction.
