Actor-network services in the Arctic - Development of a theoretical and methodological concept to assess interdependencies between nature and society

This dissertation provides the interdisciplinary theoretical and methodological concept of 'Actor-network services' to investigate interdependencies between nature and society in the Arctic. The concept is applied to selected Arctic resources which function as case studies in order to test the concepts' ability to identify and investigate developments in the High North. Based on representative connections, Arctic entities which mediate flows between nature and society are then identified.
