Electrochemical-thermal characterization and thermal modeling of Li-ion cells

Abstract (englisch):

The talk will be divided in two parts and will explore the characterization of Li-ion cells in ARC under different thermal conditions and the measurement of thermal key value from the cell. A strong focus will also be given to solving issues of thermal runaway. On the second part, a general thermal model will be derived and discussed with respect to thermal runaway. Ther will be the opportunity to discuss the application of such model and give simplifications of the model suitable for the use in thermal management system
