Abstract (englisch):

As an efficient bulk production process the ceramic powder-based injection moulding technology offers an attractive manufacturing method for a serial production of micro structured reactor systems. Microreactors equipped with in-situ sensor systems gain in importance for detection of the progression of nano particle reactions and their target reaction control. In this paper we report about the production of ceramic microreactors using the ceramic injection moulding process and 3D-printed moulding inserts. It was found, that rapid tooling of 3D-printed inserts offers a high potential to shorten the cycle times in design studies.
