Review on jet and photon measurements of CMS and ATLAS [in press]

The CMS experiment at the CERN LHC implements a comprehensive physics program for forward and low-pt physics. This is of particular relevance for extensive air shower modeling for cosmic ray research. But in general, low-x parton dynamics and QCD at low-pt are a phase-space region of high experimental and theoretical complexity, where dedicated measurements are sparse and of crucial importance. A review of low-pt, forward, diffractive and exclusive results performed by the CMS experiment is presented.
