Abstract:

Modelling Aerosols in the upper Rhine valley for August 2016
These videos contain results of COSMO-ART model calculations simulating the meteorology and especially the aerosols from August 26th to 28th, 2016 with a 1x1 km2 resolution in a 350x330 km2 box around the city of Karlsruhe in the Rhine valley in Germany. These results are related to field measurements about 11 km north of the city of Karlsruhe and a corresponding publication in Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics (Shen et al., 2019).
