Abstract:
This lecture is the second of two methodologies for Testbedding market mechanisms, namely Computational economics. The principles behind the capabilities and necessity of a computational approach in mechanism design are laid down, followed by the properties and effects of introducing software agents. The lecture wraps up with applications to the Smith framework.
