This presentation will discuss the role of calorimetry when it comes to battery research and the benefits of battery calorimetry. Quantitative measurement of thermal data, such as Quasiadiabatic Cycling and Isoperibolic Cycling will be covered as well as abuse tests in the field of battery calorimeters including the HWS test.
