Abstract (englisch):

The objective assessment of customer relevant vehicle properties is a key factor for an efficient vehicle development. This paper presents a method to define and ensure chassis relevant ride comfort targets using characteristic values. Based on the subjective vibration phenomena “body control“ and “solidity“ character-istic values describing the vibrational behaviour of the vehicle body in the chassis rel-evant frequency range have been developed. Estimating the transmission behaviour of the vehicle from road measurements or corresponding simulations the same character-istic values are applicable to road and test rig data. Doing so periodic vibration phe-nomena can similarly be quantified for harmonic and stochastic excitations.
