Results from the KASCADE-Grande Measurements

Abstract (englisch):

KASCADE and its extension array of KASCADE-Grande were designed to measure individual air showers of cosmic rays in the primary energy range of 100 TeV up to 1 EeV. The experiment was fully dismantled at the end of 2013. Though the data accumulation was completed, the data analysis is still continuing. Recently, we investigate the reliability of the new hadronic interactions models of the SIBYLL version 2.3c with the combined data from KASCADE and KASCADE-Grande. The evolution of the muon content of high energy air showers in the atmosphere is studied as well, and compared to the predictions of different hadronic interaction models. Besides, we updated the web-based platform of the KASCADE Cosmic Ray Data Centre (KCDC), where now the combined data from KASCADE and KASCADE-Grande are available. The corresponding Monte-Carlo simulated events based on three different hadronic interaction models are also included. In this talk, recent results from the KASCADE-Grande measurement and the update of KCDC will be discussed.
