Summary

This dataset consists of simulations with the general circulation model ICON for the Saharan dust event over Europe on 03 March 2021.
Simulations were performed with prognostic aerosol (icon_art) and without prognostic aerosol (icon).
Fields of common atmospheric variables are provided on the native icosahedric ICON grid, and with 3h time spacing.
Meteogram-style data for specific locations is provided with 1h time spacing.
