Abstract (englisch):

One way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions is the consistent use of lightweight construction.
By reducing the moving mass, the energy required can be reduced and thus be operated more
sustainably. Fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) composites are particularly suitable for lightweight
components with high mechanical requirements and long lifetimes. This paper presents the
production and torsion testing of rotationally moulded parts using the example of a drive shaft
which consists of a metallic load introduction and a carbon fibre intermediate part. The hybrid
components are manufactured by a rotational molding process in which braided preforms and
metallic load introduction elements are processed in one step. The aim is to investigate the
influence of surface treatments on the macro, meso and microscale of the metallic load
introduction elements on the mechanical properties of the adhesive bond. The elements are
intrinsically joined by the thermoset matrix under the influence of temperature and centrifugal
force. Load introduction elements with different surface treatments, such as knurling,
sandblasting, and laser arc spraying, are manufactured, tested, and compared. ... mehr
