Abstract (englisch):

Next generation machine elements are currently being researched that are able to provide measurements from in-situ, hence supporting digitization in industry. Developing sensor-integrating machine elements is challenging due to the conflict of objectives between mechanical and sensory functions. This contribution shows a graph of a procedure for identifying design space parameters for the example of bolts by composing an optimization function including models of mechanical and sensory function fulfillment.
