Abstract:

The dataset contains electrical consumption data from three living lab interventions in the Energy Smart Home Lab (ESHL) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. During the interventions, two participants lived their daily lives in the ESHL, a smart home with a 60m² living area and a 20m² technical room. Each intervention consisted of a different set of participants, so six individuals, aged between 25 and 35, including four women and two men. Household one had one employee and one student, household two had two students, and household three had two employees.
The dataset contains the electrical consumption data of the household devices (summed up), as well as the air conditioning (6 kW thermal), the heat pump (8 kW thermal), and the electricity generation of the photovoltaic system (4.7 kW peak) in Watts measured in 15-minute intervals.
The heating consumption dataset comprises the heating power required for space heating and the overall heat pump thermal generation power in Watts as well as the outdoor temperature in Degrees Celsius in 15-minute intervals. The data transmission from the heat sensor measuring the generated heat by the heat pump had some inconsistencies, resulting in multiple periods (some hours up to several days) of missing data. ... mehr
