Abstract:

We present recent progress in the ”Dynamics in Correlated-Electron Systems” use case within the DAPHNE consortium (DAta from PHoton and Neutron Experiments), funded by the German National Research Data Infrastructure (Nationale Forschungsdateninfrastruktur, (NFDI e.V.)). DAPHNE aims to enhance the transparency and FAIRness (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability) of data obtained from photon and neutron facilities, making it more accessible to the broader research community beyond the originating experimental groups. To achieve this, we are developing dedicated metadata vocabularies for inelastic neutron scattering and inelastic x-ray scattering techniques and promoting the use of electronic laboratory notebooks. These efforts are integrated with a new scientific data catalogue and remote data analysis platform at the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum (MLZ), designed to streamline and improve the documentation and analysis of experimental workflows.
