Abstract:
Das Kurzvideo stellt den neuen interdisziplinären Studiengang Computational and Data Science der KIT-Fakultät für Mathematik vor. Der deutschsprachige Bachelorstudiengang kann ab WS 2025/2026 belegt werden, der englischsprachige Masterstudiengang startet ab WS 2026/2027. Computational and Data Science kombiniert Methoden der Mathematik und Informatik mit Natur-, Ingenieurs- oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften und komplexe Herausforderungen zu lösen.
Abstract (englisch):
The video presents the new interdisciplinary Computational and Data Science degree program offered by the KIT Department of Mathematics. The German-language bachelor's program is offered starting in October 2025, and the English-language master's program will start in the winter term 2026/2027. Computational and Data Science combines methods from mathematics and computer science with the natural sciences, engineering, or economics to create solutions for complex challenges.
