Abstract:
To mark the 200th anniversary of geology at KIT, the book outlines its transformation through history and society, with a particular focus on developments in Baden, especially at KIT. It begins by sketching the historical development of geology in general and in Baden. Then, the professors and their exemplary contributions to society are presented. Several excursions complement the themes of the time.
