Guidelines for the use of generative AI at TAB

The TAB guidelines for the use of generative AI set out stipulations for using AI tools throughout the entire life cycle of the scientific products of the Office of Technology Assessment at the German Bundestag. With the goal of using AI responsively, safely and reflectively, the guidelines outline use cases and formulate rules for the use of results, for data and copyright protection and for sustainability. The guidelines are intended to ensure the quality of TAB's own work and that of commissioned work. They are reviewed regularly and updated as necessary.
