Evaluation of linear induction motors with two different topologies by FEM

Abstract:

This paper presents two different topologies for linear induction motors used in superconducting magnetic levitation vehicles. The traction, repulsion and attraction forces of these motors are shown. The propulsion systems are analyzed through FEM computational models and the results compared.
