Heat transfer in microstructure devices

Abstract:

Various types of micro heat exchangers, static micro-mixers, and micro-reactors have been developed over the last decade at the Research Center Karlsruhe, for potential applications in a wide variety of industries, including chemical, food, automotive, aviation and space industries. This lecture presents a brief overview of the heat transfer and other characteristics of selected metallic micro devices.
