Measurement of the Flux of Ultra High Energy Cosmic Rays using very inclined Extensive Air Showers measured at the Pierre Auger Observatory

Abstract:
The flux of ultrahigh energy cosmic rays has been determined using very inclined showers detected by the surface detector of the Pierre Auger Observatory. Two methods suitable for very inclined air showers have been implemented and compared. The regime of very inclined showers extends the aperture of the surface detector of the Pierre Auger Observatory by 30%.
