Abstract:
The aim of this work is the understanding of the deformation and damage behaviour of composite extruded unidirectionally spring steel wire reinforced EN AW-6082 under quasistatic and cyclic loadings.
The acoustic emission analysis is used as an in-situ detection system to get more insight in the different deformation and damage mechanisms.
Models which were applied, modified and developed as well as the simulation of the composite behavior allow to predict the composite behaviour.
