Modeling of nano-photonic systems using the adaptive Fourier Modal Method and analytical dipole models
Abstract:
In this thesis, the Fourier Modal Method is significantly enhanced by applying coordinate transformations. These transformations are constructed and analyzed. Furthermore, guidelines for optimal parameters are formulated. The approach is then extended to three dimensions. Finally, an analytical model to describe twisted cross metamaterials is developed.
