Measurement of the three-jet mass cross-section at 7 TeV

This study presents a measurement of the double-differential cross section of 3-jet events at 7 TeV with 5/fb of data collected by CMS. The cross section is measured as a function of the invariant mass and maximum rapidity of the 3-jet system and is unfolded for detector effects. A comparison between the data and NLO theory is performed and the running of the strong coupling is confirmed
