Macroaquatic fossils in the Pliocene- Pleistocene deposits of Jordan and their living environments as compared with surviving relatives
Abstract:
Deposits of Pliocene- Pleistocene age from different parts of Jordan were studied. Those stemming from lakes, creeks and rivers in the Jordan Valley contain fossils which are predominantly those of molluscs and ostracods.
