NLO QCD Corrections to Higgs Boson Pair Production in Gluon Fusion

Abstract (englisch):
Higgs boson pair production in gluon fusion is a process of phenomenological interest, as it gives access to the trilinear Higgs self-coupling. In the past, the higher order corrections to this process were known only in the infinite top quark mass limit. This work presents the calculational strategy of the next to leading order (NLO) corrections to the process with full quark mass dependence with the focus on the calculation of the two-loop amplitude of the virtual NLO corrections.
