Abstract (englisch):

Recent developments in mobile testing have raised the importance of black-box testing and the usage of automated test procedures. In order to secure a flawless user experience, developers are required to develop error free applications. The realization of mobile tests with the support of robotic equipment ensures new possibilities to run tests without further human interaction. In this paper we discuss different approaches for testing mobile applications with robotic arms and additionally share our insights on a prototype suited to automatically test mobile applications. The implemented prototype can perform black-box tests by utilizing an algorithmic approach based on tree-search.
