Abstract (englisch):

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals entail a paradigm shift in the industrial landscape towards a circular economy. Remanufacturing emerges as prominent application among the different strategies for environmental sustainability. Production technology holds a pivotal role to the successful implementation of this strategy. In the current state of the art, remanufacturing applications are often conducted manually in low-wage countries due to the challenges of automating the remanufacturing process chain. However, with an expected increase in remanufactured goods in future, driven by growing environmental awareness among consumers and legislative regulations, automation will become essential. The remanufacturing process chain includes disassembly into components, with the detaching of threaded connections being among the most frequent disassembly steps. Yet, the automation of disassembly is especially challenging
due to the wear and tear on products and connections at the end of their lifecycle. Processed parts and connections are of individual conditions when fed back to the remanufacturing process chain.
This work addresses the issue of process failures in the automated disassembly of threaded connections, which have been subject to wear and tear throughout their lifecycle. ... mehr
