Abstract:
Hip osteoarthritis is a common condition that leads to substantial functional limitations. While surgical treatment approaches have been extensively investigated, the use of hip orthoses in conservative management remains insufficiently studied. This book examines the influence of mild-to-moderate hip osteoarthritis on locomotion biomechanics and investigates the effects of a hip orthosis on biomechanical and clinical outcomes.
